    Hello

    Setting up a new Directory here, my question is …

    As the Diretory will work with Listings, Events and News, is there a way for GD search also search the blog posts?

    Do not want to use the WP default search option, because it makes a big mess.

    Hi Vitor,

    I’d like to clarify that there isn’t a way to allow GD search to search for blog posts and it would require customization to achieve that. Well, let us know if you need anything else.

    Just adding a bit: some users are not using WP posts for their blog post, but created an new custom post type called “News” or “Blog” and then use that for “blog posts”. That allows custom fields to be added and searched using the GD search.
