Printed version of a listing

    Hi,
    I have a requirement to print a listing for group of senior(as in old) clients who do not have an internet connection, they will drop in the centre where the staff there can print the local business listing for them which they can take away.
    I added a pdf/print function to the detail widget, it obviously only prints the current shown tab, Profile by default, it does not print the contact information in the side bar.

    What would be the best way to print a full listing for these senior clients, it would be fine if it is a preset list of details in a kind of report style.

    Hi Mike,

    Thanks for your post. If you print directly, it would normally print out what you see on the listing. Maybe you can try switching it to a “List View” instead of using “Tabs” as shown in the attached screenshot. Then check and see if it prints out nicely. It’s in GD > Design > Detail

    Hi Kor, I tried the list view, I still get just a list of the main tabs without the address fields and contact info, it also removes the company name, see attached.

    Ultimately I guess what I need is a view where the side bar ‘contact details’ appear in a area with the company name and and profile info.

    So they are, I didn’t think to look that low 🙂 Which I think may be the problem for our elderly users. Is there a way to get them(contact details) up with the rest of the main listing details?
    Or omit some areas from printing, related listings for example?
