    Now I have problems showing my listing, my site dont show any listing of GD, when I try to do this, the page is showed in blank.

    I’m building a new site of a natural park, and I’ve noted some problems setting my listing pages not associated to a city or town near, only natural places (not identified by google too), like beaches, places of interest, atracctions, etc.

    On the other hand, when I try to set the site location of the listing, google map show me an error: “please, set a location on the NATURAL PARK city only”, but really that is not a city, it’s a natural place.

    I like to set the GD map (GD home page) on a site specific page, but the page appears blank too.

    Thanks for your help

    All locations in your GD settings have to refer to a city or town, see https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/definitions/#location

    If you want to add listings outside your default location, you need to activate the Location Manager addon: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/category/addons/location-manager/

    If you want to use your latest posts as the site’s homepage, then you must select “location” at GD Permalinks > GD Home page
    See https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/basic-installation/#home

    I will get Paolo to look at your theme compatibility, I cannot get the location page to work.

    Thanks

    On the other hand I would like to know your opinion on whether it is worth continuing to work on this theme or definitely recommend me to work on another theme (some recommendation?), Since I would definitely like to continue using GD plugin and its add-ons. Thanks again

    We may be biased 🙂 , but any of the themes listed here are guaranteed to work well with GD:

    Hi JD,

    As paolo mentioned, that theme is not good choice for GD.

    I have added some styles. But it may not perfect.

    #geodir-wrapper dt {
    clear:none;
    }
    .geodir-tabs {background: #F3f3f3;
        border: 1px #e6e6e6 solid;}

    .geodir-tabs ul.geodir-tabs-content li {
    padding-top:0;
    }
    .geodir-tabs .geodir-tab-head {overflow:hidden;}
    .geodir-tabs ul.geodir-tabs-content {
    padding:10px;
    }

    I would highly recommend you try our Directory Starter or Supreme Directory theme. We actively develop both themes. So it will be always compatible with GD.

    Thanks

    Thank you for your recommendation. I have been reviewing and I see that the Geotravel theme (genesis based) is the one that best fits the site I am building, however I would like to know from you if this theme is being actively maintained, and also the following:

    1. It is easy to modify the homepage layout (using any layout plugin)?
    2. Supports woocommerce?
    3. Supports Budypress?
    4. Suppors bbPress?

    Thanks in advance,

    JD

    Hi,

    1. the top part home of the travel theme cannot be customized with a plugin. The lower part is controlled by widets, not visual builder.

    2 It doesn’t

    3 and 4 all themes support buddypress and bbpress now.

    I believe both supreme and starter are the only 2 that actually allows all the above.

    Thanks

    Hi JD,

    paolo is right. If you want all those four, then your best bet is use our DS or SD.

    Thanks

    Thanks guust, giri and paolo for your help. I will try to install my site with DS+SD as a child.
