    Hello from Amsterdam!

I managed to change the url http://www.website.com/location into http://www.website.com/directory (that is what I wanted)

    But…

The url with /location is still “live”

    Please check both url’s
    http://www.amsterdamtourist.info/directory/
    http://www.amsterdamtourist.info/location/

I guess that is not good for SEO regarding the double content issue and also the possibility that visitirs are liking two different pages….

How to change this and make sure that /location url no longer exists….

    Cheers, Jan

    Hi Jan,

That page slug should not be changed, it is checked for and used in several places. I see because you are using just one location that maybe you might want this. I would try setting up a 301 redirect for that page, there is not guarantee it won’t cause problems but you can give it a try if you wish.

    Thanks,

    Stiofan

I think Stiofan misunderstood my explanation of the problem. We are discussing this now.

    Thx
