I have a few hiccups in my installation. I’m hoping its OK to address all here:
(1) I’ve installed the multirating/reviews addon and there’s no ability to leave a comment on the frontend. On the backend, I can add a comment. I’m not sure if I’ve missed a setting. Should a form appear?
(2) In the sidebar, I have a couple of fieldsets that when data isn’t filled out for the included fields, I’d like the fieldset title not to appear. Is that possible?
(3) I’m having trouble finding the location of the “claim your listing” text. There are a few changes I’d like to make. Where can I find the correct file?
(4) I’m getting an error on the map now: “No Records Found
Sorry, no record were found. Please adjust your search criteria and try again.”http://logansquarist.staging.wpengine.com/directory/active-life/xjlkadflkj/#reviews
October 26, 2014 at 10:08 am #19624Welcome:
1. Have you allowed comments?
Settings > Discussion > Allow people to post comments on new articles > YES2. I don’t think that is possible actually.
3. Depending what you want to change:
GD > listing claims > notifications
or
language file, see more info here
http://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/translating-addons/4. That is not an error, that just means there are no listings for the location and or category you are visiting
OR
it might be because you use WPengine, see more info here
https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/hosting/page/2/5. Can you send us your WP admin details so we can have a look at your settings?

1) in GD >> Multiratings, is this ticked?
Enable multirating: Enable multirating for comment on post2) Currently there is no option to hide enpty fields/fieldset. If you wish to see this feature added in the future, please suggest it here so that other members can vote for it:https://wpgeodirectory.com/requests/
3) Being localized text, that will be in the translation file of the claim listing addon. Pls follow the documentation link provided by Guust to proceed.
4) I see a JS error that could be preventing your map from loading correctly: I think it has to do with this: ai1ec_super_widget (don’t know what it is, maybe a plugin)
5) Credentials are not working.
let us know,
Thx

October 27, 2014 at 12:47 pm #19719You had exclude the review tab from the detail pages at
GD > design > detail > Exclude selected tabs from detail pageThat now adds the tabs.
But you also have disqus enabled, and that is users cannot submit a review.
GD comments cannot be made using disqus.See more at https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/conflict-wdisqus-comments/
Is there still something else?
October 28, 2014 at 3:49 pm #19829Actually I had to turn off reviews before launch since it wasn’t working. When I was testing it, it was on. Looks like the issue is because I use Disqus. Do you have to use core commenting for reviews to work?
Also I’m having trouble with the claim listing. Does the role of businesses have to be “subscribers”? If so people get a “you don’t have permissions” error. Can you take a look at this? I’m not sure what other setting to check. I want to approve listing claims.
Lastly, I do have AdRotate installed, and I don’t know if that’s causing an issue too. Let me know. Much thanks.
October 28, 2014 at 4:21 pm #19838Hi,
yes Disqus will totally take over your commenting system and make GD reviews unusable.
Where do people get a “you don’t have permissions” error during the claim listing process?
I don’t think AdRotate can create any problem, do you see it behaving strangely or you suspect it is breaking something?
Thx
October 28, 2014 at 9:49 pm #19887When they login, after the claim listing has been approved, they click the wp menu and geodirectory and they get that error. They can’t review the listing their trying to claim.
I’m not sure if AdRotate is causing an issue, I saw it as available on the backend for a test account, and wanted to check.
Any ideas on why the error?
October 28, 2014 at 10:13 pm #19891They should go to the listing itself and click the “edit this post” link, or go to their dashboard which normally would be like this
