    Hi,

I’m having issues with ‘add listing’ and ‘add events’. Not sure, but I think it might be since a recent theme update.

I do not see where you are linking them from on the frontend, but I see no issues at
    http://travellersearth.com/add-listing/?listing_type=gd_place
    and
    http://travellersearth.com/add-listing/?listing_type=gd_event
after allowing events to be added at GD > Design > Navigation > Allow post type to add from frontend

    Hi,

    Thanks for your reply.

I had assumed that Geodirectory created the links from the menu dynamically.

So, from your reply, am I to understand that the url’s for add listing and add event (as you give above) need to be input into the menu as a custom link?

Attached is a screenshot of my current menu setup.

    Kind Regards,

    H.

If you select your menu at GD > Design > Navigation > Show geodirectory navigation in selected menu locations, then any link you select on that page will be added automatically to the menu.
    https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-design/#navigation

Also, if you add the GD Dashboard widget, all Add Listing links will be available there for logged in users.

    Hi,

Thanks a lot for your help. I’ve followed your advice and it works but doesn’t give me the exact effect I need. For simplicity I’ve taken a screenshot with a few questions.

    Thanks again.

    Hi,

the only way to do that would be removing the GD link that you don’t want there from Design >> navigation and add them back as custom links via Appearance >> menus.

Let us know how it goes,

    Thanks
