The problems I am having with the new advanced search are as follows:
1. The auto-completer option is working fine when displaying cities or regions (image 1), but when one of those options is selected (without triggering the search), it adds code into the search box (image 2).
2. If the auto-completer is set to automatically trigger a search, it will quickly put the code (image 2) into the search box, throw an error message (image 3), but then work correctly in switching the location and displaying results.
3. When typing a location into the search near field WITHOUT using the auto-completer, the location is not “switched”. For example, if my location is set as Pennsylvania (in the switcher), and then I type “Florida” and hit the search button, it shows no results for me, since the location is still set to Pennsylvania.
