Providing access to listing holders

    Hi. I am importing 50+ listings from my old system at http://www.bigpacific.net into GeoDirectory by manually recreating them.

    However, my contractor entered the listings through the wp-admin area by dashboard > Places > add new.

    I don’t know how to provide listing access to each individual listing for the owner associated with the email address. Do I have to remake all of these listings from the public add listing side?

    How can I manually set these initial 56 listings as claimed and provide access to the owners and keep them limited to their own listing?

    Hi,

    you cannot imported claimed listings.

    You must enter the ID of each author in the post_author column, than manually set them as Claimed from the wp-admin.

    so do I set up a new subscriber user and then select that ‘author’ for the specific listing, just to clarify?
