Published place, user assigned

    A user payed and published a place. I see the place as verified, if I hit edit, I see it as claimed as well.

    The user contacted me because he has no way to edit the place, it seems he is not seeing in the sidebar the “Edit Place” button.

    I do not have anything in claims, I cant see anywhere what user is associated to the place and I don’t know where can I confirm that his user is the owner of that place.

    How to verify that and why is he not seeing the “Edit Place” button.

    I found another thing.

    If I go to places in the admin, that post has no Author, I don’t know if that has something to do with the problem or not.

    If I try to assign one, it only lets me add an admin as an author and not the user that published it.

    Hi,

    you should see the username in the index of places in the wp dashboard.

    See image attached. If he doesn’t see the edit button, most likely he’s not logged in.

    That was empty.

    I changed the user to editor role, edited the post, assigned him, then changed his role again to subscriber and now its under his name.

    The thing here is why it was empty ?

    If as an admin I edit a place that should not happen, right ?

    No it shouldn’t happen. If you post a link I can give it a try and see if it’s doing it wrong or right?
