    IN the MENU as EXAMPLE lets say I have ‘RESTAURANTS’

    what I want is that in POPULAR CATEGORIES –
    ONLY popular sub menu of RESTAURANTS will show — NOT ALL POPULAR CATEGORIES

    In the demo seems on wpgddirectory seems to work this way.

    BUT in my site and in others I have looked at ALL popular categories are showing up?
    How do I get this fixed please?

    Hi,

    I think u are getting confusion with Posttype and categories. GD has been built to support custom posttype and its taxonomy.
    So in our demo, Restaurant is a post type(Not a main category) and French Cuisine, Italian Cuisine are categories of that post type.
    So on home page when u are not on a specific post type archive page then categories of all the posttypes are shown as soon as u navigate to any post type e.g. /restaurants , categories specific to that post type are shown.

    Please advise ?
