Recaptcha problem on non GEO pages

    Hello from Amsterdam!

    I have a problem with recaptcha when visitors want to give a comment on an article (normal page or post). It gives an error;

    “ERROR: You have entered an incorrect CAPTCHA value. Click the BACK button on your browser, and try again.”

    But there is no Recaptcha box below the comments….

    I use the latest GeoDir recaptcha add-on.

    Any idea?

    Hi Jan, I think you are using a plugin on those pages, https://wordpress.org/plugins/growmap-anti-spambot-plugin/
    Maybe it is not compatible with GD Re-captcha.
    Can you post your admin details in private reply, aub.

    Hi,

    it appears that our re-captcha is added to all comments form, not only GD reviews form and probably a plugin is removing the captcha widget from your posts (as Guust suggested).

    Have you tried disabling non GD-Plugins to see if the captcha widget comes back?

    Or would you prefer not to have the captcha widget added on posts and pages?

    Hi Paolo,

    When I disable the plugin “growmap-anti-spambot-plugin” as Guust suggested the problem is still the same…

    I would like to have a certain kind of spam check upon post/page commennts; either the re-captcha provided by you, or another one like the growmap anto spambot….

    Please advise.

    I cannot login with those credentials.
    You just need to delete that anti-spam plugin, and set GD > Recaptcha >
    Enable Google reCAPTCHA for > GeoDirectory Comments > YES

    sorry for the late reply, I didn’t get the notification for few replies in the last few days. I’ve asked to Stiofan to verify…

    There is definitely a conflict preventing the reCAPTCHA widget to show up. Did you try to momentarely disable all non GD Plugins?

    I don’t see any other option…

    I will try to disable all non GD plugins this week….

    Another question. Did you or Stiofan change anything? The logo on my website has disappeared and I didn’t change anything…

    I had a look at ur logo problem and in GB Booster setting i have removed the file “custom_style.css” from being combined as this was causing problems, if you notice any other css issues let us know. I also noted that your theme setting fail to save…

    I disabled all non GD plugins. No luck; I still have the problem….
