    I’m testing some new GD widgets that I haven’t used before as part of my conversion to using GD within Elementor. One of these is GD > Recent Reviews. I see where I can “Filter reviews for current viewing post type” which is nice, but I only use Places right now.

    What I’d like to do is place the Reviews content as part of a single place template, and as part of a category archive template, and then filter to display ONLY those reviews that are within the current category that is being displayed (on the place or archive).

    How can I do this?

    Hi Mitch,

    Thanks for your post. Sorry, the only available filters are “Filter reviews for current viewing post type” and “Enable location filter”. Other than that would require customization, unfortunately.

    Hey Kor,

    I understand. I guess I would say please add that option to have “Reviews filtered to display based on the default category of the current listing” to the Feature Request/Idea list.

    Sounds like a good idea. 🙂
