Along the same lines as others… I am looking for a way to show a recurring event only once, with an indication that it is a recurring event. The weekly entries/lisitngs for a weekly recurring event clogs the events listings substantially.
I thought that I could do a work around by making single entries “featured” thus having them show first by default sort. Checked featured at backend but does not seem to make the event listing featured. I read in one of the forum posts about creating a price pkg with featured enabled but I do not want this option available on the frontend so this won’t work.
I do not understand why I cannot assign featured from backend and have it show as a featured event listing. I am able to do this with a free listing in another cpt and it them shows as a featured listing… what am I missing?
