Recurring Payments Documentation

Hi,

I can’t find any documentation on how recurring payments works in terms of user experience or GD admin once set up: are customers sent a notification/request in one year’s time? – is money automatically taken from their account in 12 months time? (there is no mention of recurring payments at checkout for customer, so unless this is put in the Package title the customer won’t realise this is recurring).

I have set it up for Stripe, but not sure how it works!
