I am getting that error and all the images in my site are not loading.

Why am I getting “ReferenceError: Can’t find variable: geodir_advanced_search_js_msg” ?

    Thanks.

    Well this worked for me:

    1) I updated the core and run GD->tools to fix all issues (From 1.2 to 1.4)

    2) Then updated all installed addons at once and run again the gd->tools (It found some issues)

    3) Install new addons.

This way the data was successfully updated and I didn’t have to fix anything. Before I tried different ways and none of them worked.

    Hope this helps.

Yes, updating from versions prior to 1.3 requires to run GD Tools to fix database structure. This won’t be needed again though. Updating is actually an easy process.

1st always update core plugin alone
2nd update all addons together at once.

Anyway, glad you were able to solve!

Let us know if we can assist with anything else.

    Thx
