registration emails not sent

The emails are not being sent to new registrants. Thus, they are attempting to login in and fail too many times getting locked out.

Instead, they are in the pending activation in the Super Admin area. This is not what I was hoping to have happen. And, this is a multisite network.

How do I fix this problem please?

HI,

Are any other email from the system delivered? For example, you as an admin, do you get a notification when a new comment is added on your website?

If you don’t get any email, you’ll probably need an SMTP plugin.
