I tried to register and it told me i had to confirm an email but i did not recive one (yet)
Is this the problem you are seeing? If so please try installing a plugin called “Email log” to check the emails are being sent.Thanks,

It is exactly the problem people encounter.
I have downloaded the email log plugin. When I click on ’email log’ option in my dashboard, it is indicated that my email log is empty.
What should I do?

that’s something you should ask to your hosting provider.
If the email log is logging the emails, but they are not sent, most likely the problem is SMTP related (still a server problem).

I called my hosting provider this morning. They checked and everything is fine on their side. They have asked me whether my emails were sent through mail PHP or through SMTP.
If emails are sent through mail PHP, then there may be an issue with the script.
Plus, I am using mail log now and I see when a email is sent or not. Indeed, no confirmation email is sent to the subscribers. I have tested myself and I received no email.
Could you help me please?

all you have to do is install and configure a smtp plugin. In the link I posted yesterday you’ll find plenty of examples.

I installed and configured the mail bank plugin. The test email was sent successfully. However, when I tried to register on my site, I didn’t get any confirmation email with the link to activate the subscription.
Plus, I activated my subscription in my dashboard. I did receive a notification that a new user has registered but no email to the email address to notify me I was now a subscriber.
Can you help me please?

that’s an email sent by BuddyPress, not GeoDirectory.
If you provide admin credentials I’ll have a look, but you should really ask for support in the BuddyPress forum.
GeoDirectory doesn’t send an activation email upon registration.

there are pages of email that seem like spam being logged: http://salseros-international.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wpml_plugin_log
Please ask to your server admin if he can identify what they are using to send them.
That’s probably queuing all your other emails and some are not even sent.
As I said all this problems are NOT GeoDirectory related, so we can’t really help you with them.
It’s up to your hosting provider to assist you with it.
