    I have two site using geoDirectory.

    In one of them, the regular search function is not working. Theme Jarida…

    If you search for the word Alexander, you will get no result, eventhough it is part of the demo data. On another site, this is working well. Do you see any reason for this to occur?

    Never mind, I found the problem, which brings up a question.

    It was a range of dates From-To that I added to my Customized Searh. It was not set.

    Question : why is the date range taking into account even if I do a normal search?

    I would like to expend this post to add another question related to the SEARCH topic.

    To be clear, my original question was about the regular «Search for» input box – from the GD > Search widget. But there is also a Search on the GD Home Map, on top of the categories check boxes. What does this search input box take into consideration when doing the search?

    It does not seem to look at TAGS, unfortunatally. That would be a very important feature to add.

    Do you think that in a future release you could add TAGS too!

    It would make sense because under the Places Menu in the admin, I can create categories AND TAGS.

    I use the tags instead of categories for a good reason

    I have to ask Vikas to see if it’s feasible. It could actually slow down map loading.

    Only title can be searched, categories can be ticked/unticked in the box below the search field.
