Relationships between catagories and custom fields / badges

    Is it possible to automatically put a listing into a certain catagoery if a custom field condition is true.

    I.e i have a featured catagorey, and a featured custom field. if the featured custom field is ticked, can it automatically add the listing to the featured catagorey?

    If you have a featured category, then, using the Pricing Manager, you can hide the non-featured category (exclude it from the package) so the listing owner can only choose the featured category. Have you tried that?

    An automatic selection based on a field value would require a customization.

    Please note that if you are using the default “is featured” custom field, then for listings to be “featured” they do not need to be in any particular category.
