Remove Duplicates in Locations already in database

    Is it possible to remove duplicates that match based on (title, address, category) from among locations ALREADY in the database? (From my understanding, your ajax remove duplicates plugin only identifies duplicates and notifies you before they are imported…)

    Hi,

    we don’t have a similar tool. The ajax duplicate alert only work front end for users.

    It is a prevention tool, not an admin tool to clean up the DB.

    Can you explain what would need to be done in order to accomplish this so I can pass your instructions along to my developer please?

    Hi,

    he’ll need to build a tool that query the db, find duplicates and merge them.

    We don’t provide instructions for customization as part of support.

    do you have someone who can write a script to remove duplicates based on category and address match? if not, how long do you suspect this might take?

    Currently we don’t and it is not on the road map at all. Nobody ever requested it before.
