Remove [My Site] from email subject

    Hi there,

    How can I remove the brackets and site name that appear in the email subject field of all Geodirectory related emails? Currently, if a user registers they get an email that looks like this:

    My Site – [My Site] Activate your account

    As the From field already displays my site name, having it displayed again within the subject is unnecessary. Any help removing the [ ] part of email subjects would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi,

    GeoDirectory doesn’t send any activation email and as far as I know none of GD emails have this subject: My Site – [My Site] Activate your account.

    You must be using an other plugin for registration. In that case please submit the support request to the plugin author.

    Hhhmmm, could BuddyPress and the GeoDirectory BuddyPress Integration plugin cause this issue do you think? I’m not using any other account related plugins.

    I think it is buddypress. Try to disable GD and the BP intergation and register a user and you should get the same notification.
