Remove Titles

Hi! I need to remove titles, especially from the archives. I’m using generate press, and I plan on creating hooks with custom headers for categories.

In another post I found a reply stating

remove_action('geodir_details_main_content', 'geodir_action_page_title', 20);

I plugged that into my php code snippets plugin but that didn’t remove the titles. Perhaps I’m missing some code, because I do not know how to format php?
