You can also just remove address completely if you want. First install the custom post types addon, then go to:
Places – Settings – General – Show Advanced – Disable location
I have a few questions related to this:
1. Will the Disable location option only appear if i add the custom post addon? I couldn’t see this option with the default cpt.
2. What does removing the address completely mean? Does it simply make streets and cities, for example, redundant, or does that mean you lose every field connected to addresses, including regions and countries?
3. I don’t need maps, but am looking to have continents and countries, so people can search for products available in their country. What would be the best way to do this?
4. I’m not sure whether i want to include region (state) and city. But if i did want to include them, again, what would be the best way of adding these fields?
