Removing 'place' and 'event' post type

    Hi,

    I’ve created a set of custom post types and would like to remove/disable the standard ‘post’ and ‘event’ post types from the website. Is there a simple way to do this?

    De-activate the GD Events Manager plugin.
    You cannot delete Places, but delete all Place listings and categories and it will disappear from your website.
