    Hi,

Is it possible to rename ‘add listing’ and ‘Places’ to something else without
creating problems in the code elsewhere?

Places, you can rename it if you have the custom post type addon installed.

In our demo I renamed it Attraction. http://wpgeo.directory/

To rename Add Listing I’m sure it’s possible via language file, but I need to ask Vikas to confirm exactly how to do it.

    Thanks for your patience

    Hi,
There is a way to change it but it tricky.
Right now all the GD related pages are have type ‘Virtual’.
So if u go to admin click on pages and then filter them by type virtual, u will find Add listing page.
Edit that and change the slug of that page to whatever u want and save.

Thanks, If I have a problem doing it, I’m sure one of our members can help
    figure it out.

and thanks for the great job on the plugin, I really appreciate all the added
    refinements and control.

Well, I found four virtual pages, one of them was the ADD Listing page, but the
page is blank. I can see it if I select ‘view page’ but I don’t see a way to edit
    it.

Foolish question, but Do I change the title from ADD listing to what I want, then change the permalink also. Is the permalink address the ‘slug’?

    Hi,

It is normal that the page is blank. Simply change title and slug.

    Yes permalink is the slug.

    Thx

The URL is correct now but the menu item on my top menu still says ADD LISTING.
It’s going to the URL of my renamed page but the Menu item hasn’t changed.

    Sure,

I will look into it and provide an option in backend to change the text.

    Thanks

    Thanks,

Also, I have created a pricing table. Can I please get the info on where the link goes so I can have it go to the page with my pricing table Instead? I will then insert the original link in my pricing table so they can be sent back to the ADD Listing page.

In that case why don’t you create a custom menu link that directs to your pricing table?

That way you can simple disable the GD add listing links in design Navigation.

    Sounds like an easiest solution…

Thanks, That’s why you get the big bucks. I guess I copy the URL of the ADD listing page to the output of each pricing category in the pricing table.

similar to topic… I changed Add Place to Add Listing, worked fine for page title. And I notice that the title for the page, Add Event, now says Add Listing also. Is there a way to have a different page title for the add an event page?

    thanks!
