Renewing listing sends email "about to expire"?

    Hi guys, on a few of our test accounts that we setup monthly recurring we are getting emails that say the listing is about to expire, yet then it automatically renews. I would think this is going to confuse people. Shouldn’t say it’s only expiring IF it is truly not set to renew?

    Can we change this? Thanks for your help.

    Hi Jeff,

    the email is to let them know that the listing expiration is coming. If they have funds on their paypal account and/or the credit card is still valid, they may not have to worry about it, but in plenty of other cases the renewal could fail and there is no way for the system to know in advanced.

    That’s why a notification is sent anyway. You can change the wording if you wish.

    Doesn’t the system check expiry date to see if there will be a problem renewing before hand?

    How can the system know if there will be a problem with the payment?
