    I have presented GeoDirectory to several businesses. One business has expressed an interest in utilizing GeoDirectory for their online presence. I will set it up and host it, they have a nephew coder who will perform their php modifications.

    They had a prior bad experience with theme group which did not keep up with updates, gave up, and eventually closed down…

    So they want to know whether they have complete possession, access, and control of all files, databases, and ftp folder and file structure on their own server, or is some portion of GeoDirectory functioning remotely on your server?

    Hi Jimmy,

    We are fully open source, you have access to all code.
    We only support unmodified version of our software, but 99% of things can be done with hooks and filters in a child theme.
    The only call to our servers are to check for notifications and updates.

    We have been developing nothing but directory software for over 5 years.

    I think you will be selling 10 more GeoDirectory projects to my next 10 customers.

    Suggestion: think about adding title, alt, caption, and description for each image utilized in a listing for PLACES and EVENTS.
