Our calls to the REST API are slow, taking upwards of a minute to return 100 records. Is there by any chance a built-in mechanism to cache the calls so it does not request from DB on every single service call? Thank you

    Hi Marc,

Is is all requests or only some that are slow?

We have not looked at caching yet, we will look at it once complete.
    Maybe this can help? https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-rest-api-cache/

Funny I was on the same trail about the suggested plugin. It does seem to work, shortening our calls (yes, all of them) substantially. Thanks
