Hi – We’re trying to figure out how to restrict the GD search to return only results with post type of gd_place. For now we are getting results which include other posts from our site like news articles, etc. Thanks!

Are you using the GD Search widget or the WP Search widget, because that should not happen.

Post your URL and admin details in a private reply if we need to have a look.

We’re using the GD > Search widget in all sidebars on GD pages. Regular search search widget is active in main menu but that’s not the area from which we’re searching during our tests. Also using a plugin called Relevanssi. Admin details below. Thanks for any feedback!

Hi,

Relevanssi is not compatible with GD, it is not aware of GD custom tables.

Also wp super cache is not compatible with GD. The only caching plugin compatible with GD is GD Booster.

You shold try to disable both (wp super cache delete the plugin and all cache folders/files in wp-content) and see if search starts behaving normally.

With 62 active plugins, there could be more creating conflicts.
