Restricting field changes to admin

    How hard would it be to add an extra option to a field that restricts changes of a field to admin only? Or a field that is only available to admin but displayed on the listing?
    I would like to add a URL to a listing that the owner cannot change.

    On another note, can admin be notified if a listing owner updates their listing? Without that notification people can add anything to their listing after it is originally approved?

    Thanks for posting your suggestions.
    These can easily be achieved by implementing proper actions on available hooks. i will talk with GD team to implement it in near feature too.

    Also would very useful limit fields to specific categories.

    Something like “Show only on these Price packages?” feature but for categories.

    You can change which fields are available using Custom Post add-on. I know that is not the same as per category, but it might help.
