Results by cateogry not showing in alphabetical (default) order

    Hello

    If I search by keyword (e.g. carpenter), the results display in alphabetical order (which is perfect!).

    If I start typing a keyword (e.g. carpenter) and select a relevant category that appears in a drop down below the search bar (e.g. carpenters), the results are in a seemingly random order.

    Is there a setting I’ve missed somewhere or is this a bug?

    When you select the category you are taken to the archive page for that category, where the default sort is defined in the CPT sorting options. see https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/places/sorting/

    Search results are sorted by relevance
