    Hi,

    I am trying to achieve one of the following depending on the options available in reply.

    1. Can GD be set up that users may leave a rating without being a member, logged in (i.e. a directory visitor)
    2. Can they leave a rating only. (i.e. removing the comments section)

    If not, is it possible to remove (or hide) the comments/rating component entirely.

    Basically, we do not want to give anyone the opportunity to vent. Just rating stars only.

    Hi,

    1) yes, you can set that in Settings >> Discussion : Untick Users must be registered and logged in to comment (unless you are using whoop I think)

    2) No that is not possible, they must enter a comment too.

    Ye you can disable comments completely, just close comments in Settings >> Discussion and also individually on each listing you already have in your database.
