Reviews not sorting from Highest to Lowest

    It shows the lower ratings first (I only have two listings with ratings)

    Are you using the latest plugins?
    It used to sort by highest ratings instead of by highest AVERAGE rating.
    I thought that was fixed in the latest version.

    The first one has 6.5 stars, or 3.25 avg (2 ratings).
    The second listing has 4 stars or 6 avg (1 rating only).

    Can you confirm you are using the latest plugins? Then I will add it back on the bug list.

    Hi,

    that’s because we use a weighted algorithm for the rating system, based on the bayesian equation. (which is what most rating system do today).

    The whole point is to avoid that a new listing with only one or two 5 stars rating, could be on top of a listing with 45 5 stars and 5 4 stars for example.

    When you have few rating it can look akward, but it’s the best system once you start having more reviews.

    p.s. to test if I’m right or wrong, simply try adding a second 4 stars to the second listing and it should be enough to push it on top.
