    Hello GD,

    Using: GDF Modern Child Theme.

The “Search Location” or “Change Location” appears on computer a bit different then on Mobile (at least android and iPad . . . see attached images)

If possible, how could I remove the search city box on mobile side so it will appear as it does on the computer. I find it easier on mobile devices to just touch the dropdown to have locations appear in alphabetical order and select than typing in a location name.

Once again, many thanks in advance for your time and any help you could offer.

    Hi,

I’m 99% sure this problem is related to this: https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/my-dashboard-mobile/

Chosen doesn’t render on Mobile like on desktop.

I’ll ask to Stiofan to have a look and see if we can improve it.

    Thanks

Yes the chosen select JavaScript lib is disabled on mobile devices, this is the fallback.

If the find a solution we will add it but for now this is how it has to be.

    Thanks,

    Stiofan

    Thank you for your reply,

On Android, I ignore using the “Search City” box and can simply touch the (“Everywhere”) dropdown and a alphabetical list of all the cities popup to choose from without using the “Search City” field. Thats why I was asking if removing or hiding the “Search City” box is possible on mobile, not looking for alternative solution.

Once again, many thanks for your help and quick response.

    Hi,

I would use chrome to find the css element and hide it : https://developer.chrome.com/devtools/docs/remote-debugging

    Thanks
