    Help… I’m struggling to use the Search. I’ve even switched off the advanced search to try and simplify things and still not working as I would expect most search utilities to.

    If I want to see what listings are in a particular country, can I just leave the “search for” box blank and type “Austria” in the “near” box and expect to have all places there listed?

    It’s not acting intuitively to me, at all. Not sure if there’s a setting I’ve missed or anything I’ve missed.

    Ok, so I simply removed the value from the “Limit squared distance area to X miles (helps improve search speed)” in the search settings and it’s all working as I’d expect now. ;o)

    The search function searches NEAR, not IN.
    NEAR search searches NEAR the centre of Austria, usually in a 40 miles radius (in your case unlimited radius now I guess).
    If you want all listings IN Austria (but not Germany or Liechtenstein for example), then you should use the location switcher.

    NEAR (search) is not the same as IN (switcher).
