Hi,
I’m using whoop.
For the main search bar, how do I play around with it in terms of style and what’s in it. For example if I don’t want to have places, event drop down menu up front can we do that? also if we’re already in a location page, can I not have the near function? Also the main page, it says Whoop! where do I go to change this.
July 31, 2019 at 5:10 am #500514Hello,
try the customizer to change the logo.
To add select fields you can visit the advanced search tab:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/places/search/To remove a CPT, delete all categories and listings in that CPT and it will no longer show in the CPT drop down.
To hide a certain part of the search bar see the CSS examples here:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/faq/common-examples/#gd_searchJuly 31, 2019 at 7:34 am #500532Hi thanks for being so patient! I’m getting there.
See attached about what I meant when I asked about this:
‘Also the main page, it says Whoop! where do I go to change this.’> Whoop! is the main page
> Subsequent pages is ‘nelayan’ for when I clicked on ‘places’ which is the first listing there, and ‘carribean festival’ when I clicked on event, because it is the first listing under event.can we change that tittle to say the category instead of the first listing? Also can we change Whoop!?
July 31, 2019 at 8:06 am #500537Also, the advance search add on (which is I love) enable me to add functions like the dates and category into the search bar. But I can’t seem to still delete the ones that are originally in there, like the event/place drop down? Pic attached. Is there anyway that I can delete that, since I’m already in the event page, I don’t need to ask again which ones I want.

You can always hide the CPT select using the custom CSS here:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/faq/common-examples/#gd_searchTo adjust page titles for archives take a look at the titles and metas settings

thanks but I’m really sorry, I’ve searched and changed the meta tittle but the archive page’s tittle is still showing the tittle of the first listing there, and not the category. Please help.
