Search bar for only specific category

    Is there a way to put a “default” category search bar on a page?

    For example for a page for contractors. domain.com/contractor

    whereby the search has a primary category listed contractor and the next box / search filer is a sub-category “-roofing”

    Sorry, that’s not possible out of the box and would require customization to achieve what you needed there.
