Search by category yields blank results page!

    When I search just by selecting a category (not refining by location or any other parameters), the results page is blank. The map shows all of the correct icons, but the list area reveals nothing. I’m attaching a screenshot. Please help!!

    Are you using the default content on the GD Search page?

    Yes. I’ve added a line of text, but even after removing it I still have the same error. I’m including admin credentials below.

    I also have a follow up question. This happens when I select a category in the ‘search for’ field. Clicking on the category automatically runs the search – meaning I don’t have an opportunity to even enter info in the ‘near’ field. Is there a way to keep that from automatically running a search? So that a user could select a category and then still enter a location?

    You edited the GD Archive template and made an error in the shortcode: FIXED

    To enable to choose a category AND keywords, you can add the categories as a different search option at
    Listings > Settings > Search tab
    I have added it, but remove again if you want.

    Another option you may want to test is:
    GD > Settings > Advanced Search tab > Enable search autocompleter?
