    Hi there,

I have encountered a CSS bug with the suggestion field. It looks like it gets pushed down below the content (see screenshot). Seems to be because it’s positioned absolute to the whole page, so the css top value is always going to be different page-by-page.

Would you happen to have a fix for this to always have it sit under the input field?

    Hi stillwater,

Could you please share your Website URL so that I could check on it?

    Thanks!

Here are some locations where we have search. I guess we need the suggestion box to always be positioned absolutely by the search box, rather than absolutely by top of the page.

    Hi Stillwater,

Thanks for the URLs. I’ve just tested it on my end and I’m able to see the issue there http://prntscr.com/fpp2aa . This looks like a plugin conflicting with gd. Could you please try deactivating all non-gd plugins and see if it fixes the issue there?

    Thanks!

Thank you for checking that out. I have deactivated non-essentials that I know for sure I can deactivate, without success. However I can’t remove all of our plugins. Do any of these jump out as problematic to you?

    Advanced Custom Fields
    Autoptimize
    Display Posts Shortcode
    EWWW Image Optimizer
    File Manager
    Instagram Feed
    List category posts
    Master Slider
    Per page head
    Yoast SEO

The one that jumps out to me is Per page head (“Allows you to add content into the section for a specific page, like custom JS or custom HTML”) however this was not installed by my personally and was installed by someone else on our client’s team. As such I cannot just remove it right now…

    Hi there,

Are you able to identify the script or code that is causing the issue from that plugin?

    Thanks!

Hi Kor, sorry for the late response, but you can mark this as resolved. Figured out it was a mistaken position relative on the body causing the css to be off for the drop down. Thanks for your help 🙂
