    Hi,
    I have the search widget under my map of listings,
    I have the normal post type of places and a custom post type of Homeplaces.
    I would like to keep these separate so I’d like to get rid of the dropdown post type option in the search widget. This would eliminate the chance of users inadvertently choosing the wrong type.

    I can seem to hide the dropdown with css, is there any option in the plugin settings to not show the dropwown.

    Hi john,

    Unfortunately, there is currently no way you can remove a CPT from the dropdown in search widget unless with some custom code which falls outside the scope of what we offer for support.
