I have had some other search functionality issues which have already been addressed in these forums. However, I am now experiencing a unique problem with the search.

When I type “Dallas” into the search box and hit enter, results in and around Dallas, Texas are returned. When I type Dallas into the search box and then click on the populated Dallas, Texas (city), no entries come up on the search.

Can you explain why this is the case, please?

    Thank you,

    Daniel

What radius do you have set in GeoDirectory >> Advance Search?

If you provide a link and admin credentials we’ll have a look.

    Thanks

    Hi,

you have 3 Dallas cities in the Texas region: http://csaday.info/wp-admin/admin.php?page=geodirectory&tab=managelocation_fields&subtab=geodir_location_manager&s=dallas&country

Please merge them and make sure all other locations too don’t have duplicates or triplicates.

Let us know how it goes,

    Thanks

I believe you had recommended that I merge locations once before. I began to work on this but was quickly overwhelmed by the task. I have nearly 2,000 locations and 98 pages of them, as I’m sure you saw.

Is the only way to merge them manually through Geodirectory–>Multilocations–>Manage Location? Is there a tool to identify duplicates, triplicates, etc?

    Thank you,

    Daniel
