    Hi:

Please see the screenshot attached. I have a category called ‘hospitals’ and a custom field for region. Currently, I have to place my cursor inside of the ‘search for’ field and press enter in order to get any results.

Ideally, we would like for the search results to come up as soon as any choice is selected, ie. if a category is selected, all results within that category would display. If category and region are both selected, then all results would automatically display. so no need of having to place cursor in the ‘search for’ field or click on an icon in order for the results to display.

However, if this is not possible, then a search icon would be the next best thing. Is it possible to have the search icon only, in that case, and not the ‘search for’ field?

    Thank you very much,

    Lillian

You can certainly hide the Search for field with CSS:

The search bar can be used on any page, and search results are returned on the search page template.
