    We’re trying to add the ability to search for a business name within the main search bar. I’ve added a custom ‘select’ field and added this within the search tab. I’ve then checked the ‘show in main bar’ option and saved. When I view the main search page, a large gap appears between the category search and the location fields, however no search box is visible.
    What am I doing wrong please?

    Hi Gavin Raines,

    Thanks for your reply. It looks like you have a line of code in your child theme that is hiding the default search form. I’ve removed it for you and you should have the default search form that allows you to search for the business name. Could you check now? 

    remove_action( 'geodir_search_form_inputs', 'geodir_search_form_search_input', 20 );
