Search not working

    Hi there

    I’ve an open topic about searching tag witch spaces and pipes not working. But on my site the whole search is not working correctly. I can just search about the title. All the custom fields are not included in the search.
    I made a video to show you what happen in the current version 45… In V1 I was able to search everything and id worked supergood.

    Can you help me to figure out why it’s not possible to search? I really need it because I want to go online with the current version 🙂

    You can only search custom fields if you add them to the search using the Advanced Search addon. That is the same as V1.
    If we need to check things, provide more detail of which custom field you are trying to add, and your site login details.

    I don’t think free text fields can be searched. Spender/Donor is a free text field.

    Where do you want to hide the category slug? I cannot see it in the detail page URL?

    The only way to hide the category in the search bar in V2 is to disable Autocomplete in the advanced search settings:

    It is possible to remove the category from the Detail page URL, just use a custom permalink structure:
