Search Page Assigned to a Page Built with Divi Locks Up Editor

I’m currently in the process of converting my old GDv1 directory site into GDv2, and was encountering a moderate amount of success adapting the original functionality to the new shortcode methods introduced with Version 2, however I hit a brick wall with the Search archives page.

When I enable the “New Divi Builder Experience”, on a page assigned as the GD Search page, it locks up, refusing to load the page editor as seen in the screenshot attached.

I’ve seen the new Divi builder react like this before, and upon inquiring Elegant Themes about it, their solution was to save the Permalinks options several times until the issue clears up. I’ve done this, in this particular case, and have had no success.

Assigning the GD Search page to a different page allows me to continue editing the page just fine, but if changed back, it locks up once more.
