    When using the GD Search Widget, the results display my places AND the pages with in the site ( all say 6019.22 miles near). Is it possible this is a conflict with my site search?

    Possibly… do you mind sharing a link and wp admin credentials so that we can have a look?

    it could also be a plugin…

    Hi,

    I can confirm the problem is related to the theme only, because I’ve tried activating twentytwelve quickly and it doesn’t do it.

    I tried commenting out an action in a theme’s file that I suspected it could be the culprit (in framework.php) and it’s throwing an error now.

    I’m really sorry ,but I need FTP credentials to fix it and continue testing, because I can’t use the wordpress editor because of the error.

    No worries! I cannot give you FTP, but I did replace the file with the working one. Any changes you would of done are now gone. Hope it wasn’t too much.

    Hi,

    nope just 2 // in front of an action.

    Without FTP though, it will be hard to find out what function the theme author added to hijack the search.

    Does he provide any kind of support? If you ask him, I’m sure it will help us identify it in a fraction of the time.
