I have installed GeoDirectory onto my site. I am using Genesis. Here’s what I want to accomplish. When someone types in a place or zip code in the search box I want them to be taken to the search results and I want them to be able to filter those results. I want the filters to show up on the left hand side of the page, like you would see on Amazon. How can I achieve this?

    Hi Richard,

You should add the GD > Search widget to the search page sidebar, then you would need to add you own filter optons under GD> Place Settings>Advanced Search

    Thanks,

    Hey Stifon,

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. So here’s what I am trying to accomplish. I want to add different fields to each place such as price range, facility type, care services and more. Each of those fields will have options to choose from. What do I need to make those options show up in my advanced search?

Nevermind. I figured out where to add the places options.
