Search results – no records found and no categories displayed

    How do I get the categories to display on the map under ‘Title’ and for it to identify items that are within the search criteria?

    Hello Joanna,

    Thank for writing in with your issue. Here are a couple things to try:

    1# Make sure all your listings have a category
    2# Complete all basic installation steps: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/basic-installation/
    3# Adjust the Home Map settings: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-design/#map
    4# Make sure you haven’t hid the caegories. In GD > Design > Map review the settings carefully to make sure you haven’t accidentally hidden the categories or post types from display on the map.

    Let us know if review and update of these settings doesn’t fix the problem.

    i worked out what seems to be going on. It only shows the categories in the Default post type search on the map no matter which CPT I select. I have 5 CPT and am only displaying 2 at this time. I want to be able to have each CPT display only their content when that link is selected. I.e. Selecting ‘Do More’ only displays those listings and categories in that CPT, those in ‘Road Tripping’ to only show those listings and categories in logged against that CPT.

    Also, I have selected to not show the listings in All Places and they are all showing. In the screen example below. The listings being displayed are in the All Places CPT and I have selected to not display those.

    It is supposed to work the way you describe it.
