Search results – order by distance

We have moved to a support ticketing system and our forums are now closed.

    When a user searches for listings (for example, accommodation) near a particular town, the results show the distance from the town, which is a nice feature.

    However, the order that the results are displayed, is not by order of distance. I looked for a setting to achieve this, but couldn’t find one. Am I missing something?
