Search Results should show Number of Listings as per the search criteria

    Hello,

    I am using the latest version of WP, GD, UsersWP with Supreme Directory theme.

    My question is related to the “Search Results”

    Is there a way that the number of listings can also be shown on the Search Results page?
    For Example, if someone searches for Communication, then the Search Page should show
    Search results for : Communication (A Number/Count)

    Please let me know if this can be done.

    Hi Kor,

    Thanks for the reply. Yeah, please forward it to your developers because in my opinion, if you add another string in Titles & Meta, like %%page%% , this should work.

    Currently the way to show the count is with GD Loop Paging. Use the shortcode builder to configure the advanced options for show_advanced=’before’ to show advanced paging options including the counts.

    I will take up your idea as a suggestion for the developers to consider for future versions.

    Hi Alex,

    I am not looking for number of pages to be displayed. They already are being displayed.

    All i want is the total number of results from a search query.

    First of all Let me Wish you & the entire team at GD a Very Happy New Year.

    Naveen : I have 2 options here

    1. You will have to guide me apply this patch fully as I am no techie guy.
    2. I will wait for the next release. How soon though, the nest release is due?
